About Hi3DGen
Hi3DGen uses a predicted normal map as an intermediate guide between an input image and generated 3D geometry. The Space shows this normal-map stage alongside its image input and model preview.
The demo is useful for exploring shape reconstruction when surface geometry matters more than a finished material setup. It exposes generation settings and several mesh export formats. Check the normal-map preview and the 3D surface separately to understand where details have been retained or estimated.
How to use Hi3DGen
- Use Single Image to add a reference and select Generate Shape.
- Inspect the normal-map output and the result in the 3D Model tab.
- Choose GLB, OBJ, PLY, or STL, then select Export Mesh.
What to know before you start
- The Multiple Images tab in the inspected Space is a coming-soon placeholder; use Single Image.
- The model preview can be a large download. Allow time for it to appear after generation.
The provider controls availability, sign-in, processing, and downloads. Save any result before reloading or closing the demo.
Is Hi3DGen a texture generator?
This workflow focuses on geometry through a normal-map intermediate. Do not assume its export is a finished textured production asset.
