What you can do here
Use the featured TRELLIS.2 and InstantMesh demos or browse the 24 entries in our 3D tools directory. The directory includes object generation, scene reconstruction, motion capture, point-cloud segmentation, benchmarks, and browser simulations. Each page explains the inputs, outputs, and limitations of that specific Space. Open a GLB in our browser viewer to rotate it, inspect its wireframe, and see basic geometry statistics.
Free3DGen does not require an account or charge for these tools. Embedded tools run on third-party services and have their own availability, sign-in requirements, usage limits, and any paid plans.
Who provides the generators?
TRELLIS.2 is a Microsoft project. InstantMesh is a TencentARC project. Their public demos are hosted on Hugging Face. Free3DGen is an independent website and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft, TencentARC, or Hugging Face.
Where the examples come from
The stone golem, angel sculpture, standing bear, and fantasy plant come from the official TRELLIS.2 project gallery. Each displayed image is an input reference, paired with the corresponding model published by the project.
The built-in stone golem mesh has been simplified for a smaller browser preview. Other examples load the original public model files on request. These are sourced examples; Free3DGen did not generate them or measure their generation times. They are not evidence of an independent comparison with InstantMesh.
The geometric illustration beside the GLB Viewer link represents viewer controls and is not an AI-generated example. Attribution on this site does not change any rights attached to the original assets.
How the 3D tools directory is selected
The initial directory captures the first 24 entries on the first page of Hugging Face’s trending 3D Modeling list. This is a reviewed selection, not a live ranking or an independent quality score. The descriptions are reviewed against the providers’ documentation and published app code.
Directory covers use published project images, provider interface screenshots, or original diagrams. Source URLs and image types are recorded in the project’s attribution files. Illustrations describe a workflow or representation and are not claimed to be generated results.
What the viewer does
The viewer uses Three.js to render self-contained GLB files on your device. It can inspect geometry and materials; it does not edit the file, validate printability, create rigs, or repair topology. Local files are not uploaded by the viewer.
Service issues
If an embedded demo fails, open its original Hugging Face page and check the provider’s message. For project-specific issues, use the issue tracker linked from the model’s TRELLIS.2 or InstantMesh page. Do not post private input files in a public issue.
